The Bann Disc Vol 27 Launch Coleraine Historical Society

Over 60 members and guests joined The Coleraine Historical Society for the hybrid launch of The Bann Disc volume 27 at The Sandel Centre, via Zoom and on FaceBook live stream last Saturday morning 20th November 2021.
The group was welcomed by Society Treasurer Alistair Kennedy who thanked Barbara Harding, Editor, the Editorial Committee and Impact Printing for their work in producing the 27th volume of The Bann Disc and Brendan Mullan Causeway u3a for his technical help.
Alistair then handed over proceedings to John McNally Chair of Portrush Heritage Group. John gave an excellent review of the book going into detail on a number of the articles and congratulated Coleraine Historical Society on the journal, the continuation of its monthly talks via Zoom and its new website, which he described as a ‘heritage goldmine’
Alistair Kennedy and Committee Member Anne-Marie Huston then presented John McNally, Brendan Mullan and Tommy McDonald of Impact Printing with thank-you gifts. Finally, Barbara Harding was presented with a bouquet of flowers in thanks & recognition of her hard work & dedication in bringing the Bann Disc vol 27 to publication.
